Yo, what up fam? It’s your boy Dan here, comin’ atcha with some tips on how to dry your weed real quick like. So check it, I was in a real tight spot the other day, runnin’ low on my stash and my ladies still ain’t ready to harvest yet. So what’s a brother gonna do?
I had two options: either drop some serious cash on some weed from the weed guy, or get creative and find a way to dry my own buds in a hurry. And you know me, always up for a challenge. So I went ahead and picked a branch from one of my plants, trimmed off them leaves, and laid them buds out on some white copy paper.
I covered ’em up with another sheet of paper, placed the whole thing on top of my oil-filled heater, and threw a newspaper over that for good measure. At first, I had that heater cranked all the way up to 1500 watts, tryna get them buds dried out ASAP. And lemme tell ya, it worked like a charm – in about 90 minutes, them buds was dry enough to roll up into a fat joint.
But here’s the thing – if you ain’t keepin’ an eye on them buds real close, they gonna get too crispy real quick. So now I got that heater set to half power, just 750 watts, and it takes a bit longer – ’bout 3-4 hours – but I like the texture better this way.
Now listen up, this ain’t the way you wanna be drying out your whole crop. This is just for emergencies or if you wanna sample one plant real quick. If you ain’t got as much patience as me, you can still crank that heater up to high – just make sure you watch ’em closely or they gonna end up drier than cottonmouth after smokin’ some OG Kush.
