Welcome to Roscommon Acres, my little home in the country. I write here about life more abundantly, from the joy of a baby’s smile to the almost unbearable grief of losing a son. They’re great. And they love the grass sprouting up in my garden. Of course, they love the newly sprouted corn, too, which has them on restriction and close supervision until it grows in a little.

Whenever I am feeling a bit overwhelmed, I look at realtor.com to see if I can find a few acres with a tumble down house. You know, something I can afford that is within driving distance of my husband’s work. It seems if I am within driving distance, the price goes up out of range… I am past overwhelmed and have made myself stay away from real estate ads. Now, these weeder geese are making me want to start looking for land again. But, for an entirely different reason.
