I’ll get this right eventually. I thought I had a good idea copying my whole comment box, deleting mine and then cutting them into strips. Until I went to announce the winner and realized that the numbers would be off. But I thought you might enjoy seeing my three year old in her official capacity.
And congratulations to Sara, whose real number would be 51. I hope you get lots of use out of Junior Science on File! And to little Bug. I don’t know what she thinks she won, but she clearly thought she was the winner of this one!

Welcome to Roscommon Acres, my little home in the country. I write here about life more abundantly, from the joy of a baby’s smile to the almost unbearable grief of losing a son. I am seeking beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3).

Just place "Tiggy" in the subject line.

I’m sure you have a book you could give her for her “win”!
If you want some more “light reading,” along those lines, I highly recommend Geraldine E. Rodgers’ History of Beginning Reading. It’s written from a christian perspective. You can get the e-version at Author house for only $8.95. Here’s the short version, a 4 page history: http://www.donpotter.net/PDF/WHY%20NOAH%20WEBSTER%20WAS%20RIGHT.pdf The e-version is handy for quoting her, there are tons of great quotes in her history.
I also have a short version of the history of reading instruction on my phonics page:
