Join me tomorrow on Home School Talk at 1PM CST to talk about homeschool regulations and of course to hear Dr. Milton Gaither talk about his book, Homeschool: An American Hisory. If you have questions or comments for Dr. Gaither, you can of course call into the show, register with BlogTalkRadio so that you can ask your question in the chat room or email them to me at homeschooltalkshowATgmailDOTcom. All shows are recorded and available for download a few minutes after the broadcast finishes.
As for me, I’ve had a nice time visiting my dad this week here in Kansas, but I am looking forward to returning home tomorrow. With my daughter I haven’t seen in a whole week. The one who did NOT want to come to the phone to talk to me because she was afraid I’d make her come home. As if she could just jog over from Utah. I didn’t really say anything when I left because…well…my parents have a nicer, bigger, faster computer than we do and I figured I’d still be blogging.
But that didn’t happen. So I’ve been gone for most of the week, but shall be resuming normal blogging Tuesday or Wednesday. It kind of depends on how late we get back on Monday. It shouldn’t be too late, but I lost my cell phone and I still have some vague hope of finding it before we leave.
Welcome to Roscommon Acres, my little home in the country. I write here about life more abundantly, from the joy of a baby’s smile to the almost unbearable grief of losing a son. I am seeking beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3).

Just place "Tiggy" in the subject line.

I’ll try not to miss it!
And I’m glad to hear that you are well. It was too quiet here, and I started to wonder.
Really looking forward to this one, Dana!
I enjoyed the program and have been reading Dr. Gaither’s blog.
Thank you, everyone!
