The whole house was affected and my computer didn't like it one bit - the hard disk died and we had to send it away to be fixed. I was in a panic - all our home and business files were on that disk. Luckily the data recovery company fixed it and we bought a backup device the same day. I don't think I could go through that again. I had something similar happen to me when we had a power cut.
