Just a beautiful girl and wonderful photo.
A great example of shooting a little wider rather than zooming right in. The surroundings give it a peaceful, natural feeling.

Thanks for all the nice comments. And it is a water table…the only way she’ll enjoy the water. The other two play happily in the sprinkler, but she is afraid of it.

Aaah – the fun days of summer. And you are right about pre-school. Don’t know why there is so much pressure to not let kids be kids and learn some things at their own pace and in their own way.

Thanks, everyone. And yes, Jennifer. It is a highly selective preschool. It only accepted two kids this year so there is a lot of individualized attention. But it’s more than a preschool since they have classes from birth through 18. : )

I agree and I’m envious! We live in the city, and even if we did get out to the “nature” we would have desert mountains and lots o’lots of dirt.
I miss the tall grass . . . I do.
That is adorable! Just how a child should spend their days, exploring and learning naturally! I unschooled all my children when they were little, we didn’t start book learning until they were older, now the older kids are in school, and they are Honor Roll students because they love learning.
Bare feet, green grass, what more could you ask for??
